Howdy y'all!
I've gone through and removed a number of my deviations and scraps for various reasons, up to and including; I didn't like it, it was embarrassing, it was redundant, it was pointless, I felt like it. I've rearranged a few deviations as well.
Life continues to be awesome, just ponderous. I sure could use immediately stable and gainful employment right now, but it's taking its sweet time getting here. I could also use some sleep, but that is difficult to obtain these last few days.
Up and coming: empty promises of updates for the few people who peruse my gallery. Really, I started wondering the whole point of this thing. I considered wiping it out, starting a new name and a fresh slate. But alas no, for that would waste five years of history on deviantART and would not be worth it. More revealingly I came to realize that while I watch a handful of artists here, I am very unfaithful when it comes to viewing submissions, reading journals, or leaving comments. The very act of posting work here usually is a sign that the artist wants feedback, some advice, some praise, or just some attention. I should know. And yet I simply browse through submissions, middle-click a few to new tabs then move along to a forum or something. No more, I say. I'll need to make an effort.
That was rambling and a little depressing, so let's shift gears. I saw one of my old pictures is a redraw of some older picture that I didn't have the sense to upload for reference. I'm guessing it was from a mecha card game I tried to create while in high school; that certainly sounds possible. Perhaps I should redraw the redraw, seeing what I can come up with again.
The newest edition of Mountain Dew Game Fuel is out... same liquid gummy bear taste with a new Horde can. Pretty neat, good for shock therapy and a ridiculously addictive and bizarre drinking experience. Prefer Cherry Coke, or Cherry Doctor Pepper (y'know, with the KISS of cherry that makes it smoother than Gene Simmons?) Speaking of addiction, this Heroes of Might and Magic V turn-based strategy game is a ton of dun, shame I didn't pick up on it in 2006 when it came out! Oh well, it still keeps me entertained! In the same vein as gaming, Sacred 2: Fallen Angel is a fun dungeon crawler that came out last year. Run around, kill some stuff, get some loot (although it allows for two people to play on the same console, which is utter madness these days.)
Last bit of stuff before I sign off... if you're still reading this then bless you, for you are a better person than I! I hope to get working with some friends and get a video game pushed out to Windows and XBOX 360 late next year. It's a side-scrolling platformer that, like in the olden days, focuses on fun game play and fast action over excessive dialogue and deep story. Also, it will support two players on the same system (PC or 360), a throwback to the days when you didn't need an internet connection to play games with your friends who came over to your house! OK, getting off the soap box.
Anyways, thanks for reading all of this! And even if you didn't, even if the only one who reads this is myself, it still helps to get this in writing so it will not have been in vain.
Peace!

What is life? It is the flash of a firefly in the night. It is the breath of a buffalo in the wintertime. It is the little shadow which runs across the grass and loses itself in the sunset.
