Two years gone by, and things are a dit different. Still arting (however slowly), moving across the state, doing new work.

I was going to hold out until August...
...to make it an even three years, but what the hell. I still do art; in fact, I do it regularly now. That said, uploading to DA is sort of a pain at times, and I can upload to tumblr a bit more easily. I am going to select certain things to put up here as time goes by, of course, as I'd hate to neglect my first real art site. :)

Food For Thought
Ever sit down, load up the DA front page... and just refresh it a few times? A staggering amount of art comes in, and most of it will be overlooked. Just taking a couple of minutes to look for something neat, give it a page view (or even a comment) can make someone's day.
Rut
I'm in one. I can do little sketches during RPGs, or imagine half a dozen scenes or dioramas. But to truly sit down and work, to create, to make it real... impossible. Not sure why, and I imagine I'll be back to churning stuff out before long (not that most of it ever makes it to DA).
I think I might make a portfolio: illustration, landscape, advertisement, layout. Try my hand and make a nice, general-stock folder that I can trim and adjust as needed. Just need the get-up-and-go.
Desire
As in, I desire a way to make my tablet usable again. Lost not only the very fancy stylus, but the power cord. My old roommate says he found a power cord that sounds suspiciously like it might be the missing one... so all that's left is a stylus. Which I cannot walk into any store and buy, apparently.
This desire is precipitated by my discovery of ARTRAGE thanks to fellow deviant Noben (I've no idea how to link an artist's icon gallery linky thing!).
